Part of our mission is to grow an authentic, prayerful and worshipping networked community of faith-filled believers.
Together, we present tangible proof that God delights to hear and answer specific prayers. How? We call it ‘matching prayer’!
At Besom, we don't advertise our needs or those of our recipients. Neither do we undertake fundraising activities. We know He hears the cries of the poor and can answer through our prayers and generous giving. So we encourage each other to prayerfully depend on God for everything. We take Him at His word, trusting in His love and faithfulness to provide what is needed.
Matching prayer is when our Besom becomes aware of a specific need through a referral. We don’t publicise it or try to solve it in our strength or resources. We pray. And time and time again, we have the joy of a phone call or a passing conversation with somebody donating the exact thing that was prayed for at the perfect time. And everyone involved, from donor, deliverer to recipient receives hope and joy in encountering God’s heart for those in need and witnessing His incredible provision.
