Giving Money

Besom doesn’t do fundraising …

You will never find us running fundraising campaigns, crowd-funding or proactively applying for grants.  However, we do enable followers of Jesus to put God’s love into action by encouraging generous and effective giving.  As with all giving, we encourage it to be a product of prayer.

The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Matthew 25:40

There are 3 ways you can give:

1. ‘Through’ us – towards a specific local need

Giving money ‘through’ the local Besom means 100% of your gift is used to purchase items for recipients such as washing machines, cookers, mattresses, or materials for projects such as paint or decorating tools.

2. ‘To’us locally – towards our operational costs or the new Premises refurb.

Giving money ‘to’ Esher Besom for help with our running costs such as phones, insurance, subscriptions and maintaining the van.

Or give money specifically to support the refurbishment of the new premises in Hersham and make them fit for purpose.

3. Nationally – to The Besom Network

Giving Money ‘to’ our Network so it continues to support established Besoms and its vision of planting a Besom in every community that needs one.

We are a proud member of The Besom Network and flourish due to their invaluable support. Membership gives us access to centralised online resources and policies, leadership training & advice, events and webinars, media support and more.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

2 Corinthians 9:7

It isn’t important how much you give but the heart with which you give it.  Whatever it is, thank you for joining us on the Besom mission.

To give money to Esher Besom, please contact info@besominesher.com for our bank details etc.

I like the fact that every penny given goes to the project I choose. Then you can see exactly what is funded and it becomes something more than money – it becomes something real and living.
